Bodo/Glimt and Lille shared the points in a goalless UEFA Champions League league-phase fixture at Aspmyra Stadion on Tuesday, November 3. Neither side could find a breakthrough in a closely balanced contest that ended with a clean sheet apiece.

Fine margins at Aspmyra

The Norwegian hosts held a narrow advantage in possession, finishing with 50.7% of the ball to Lille’s 49.3%. That near-even split was reflected in a result neither side could turn in its favour.

Lille produced the greater volume of attempts, registering nine shots to Bodo/Glimt’s four. The hosts, however, put all four of their efforts on target, while the visitors tested the opposition goalkeeper with three of their nine attempts. Neither approach delivered the decisive goal.

There was little separation at set pieces either. Lille won four corners and Bodo/Glimt three, but neither team converted those opportunities into a breakthrough.

Late bookings, but no late winner

Bodo/Glimt received a yellow card in the 76th minute, before Lille defender Nathan Ngoy was booked in the 83rd. The hosts committed 12 fouls across the match, compared with Lille’s eight.

The deadlock remained intact through three minutes of second-half stoppage time. There were no goalscorers as the fixture finished 0–0, leaving both clubs with a point from their Champions League encounter.

For Bodo/Glimt, the greater accuracy of their shooting was not enough to secure a home victory. Lille’s higher attempt count likewise brought no winning reward. Ultimately, a draw reflected a night when neither side could establish a decisive edge.
