Denver Summit FC delivered a ruthless attacking display at Centennial Stadium on Saturday, October 24, sweeping aside Racing Louisville FC 6–1 in front of 12,372 supporters. Natasha Flint led the way with goals in the 19th and 68th minutes as Denver turned a two-goal halftime advantage into a commanding National Women’s Soccer League victory.
Flint opens the door, Kurtz doubles the advantage
Flint provided the breakthrough in the 19th minute, putting the hosts on course for an afternoon in which their finishing would prove decisive.
Louisville remained within one goal until first-half stoppage time, when Kaleigh Kurtz headed home in the second added minute, 45+2′, to send Denver into the interval 2–0 ahead. It was a damaging moment for the visitors, leaving them with a much steeper task after the restart.
Three goals in nine minutes settle the contest
Denver pulled decisively clear during a blistering second-half spell. Melissa Kössler made it 3–0 in the 59th minute before Lindsey Heaps added a header in the 66th.
Just two minutes later, Flint struck again in the 68th minute to complete her brace and stretch the lead to five. Three goals in nine minutes had taken the fixture beyond Louisville’s reach, with Denver finding contributions from across their attack.
Taylor White gave Racing a consolation in the 79th minute, converting the visitors’ only effort on target. Any satisfaction was short-lived: Yazmeen Ryan restored Denver’s five-goal cushion in the 81st minute, completing the 6–1 result.
Denver’s control reflected in the numbers
The hosts finished with 59.6 percent possession and a 20–6 advantage in attempts. Most striking was their efficiency: six of Denver’s seven efforts on target produced goals. Louisville managed just one attempt on target, underlining the gulf in attacking output.
For Denver, this was a comprehensive victory built on sustained attacking superiority and clinical finishing. For Racing, White’s late goal offered little relief from a difficult afternoon.
Both clubs return to action on Sunday, November 1. Denver face North Carolina Courage, while Racing Louisville take on Kansas City Current, with both fixtures scheduled for 2:00 p.m. PST.
