The most notable disciplinary moment arrived in the 81st minute, when Fulham defender Kenny Tete was shown a yellow card. Neither side could find a late breakthrough across five minutes of added time, and the final whistle confirmed a legitimate share of the points.
The result leaves Liverpool with a 1-3-0 league record, while Fulham move to 0-1-3. Attention now turns to the next round of fixtures: Liverpool host AFC Bournemouth on September 20, while Fulham travel to Manchester United later that day.
